Steel roof coatings mostly suffer from corrosion, due to weathering of the exsiting coating. To eliminate this you need a good protective coating product that will give long term protection and low cost maintenance.
Steel roof coating systems can sometimes require a coating system of primer, mid-coat and a finish coat depending on the present condition of the roof. If it is new steel uncoated then you will most probably require a coating system , if it is old coating you may be able to re-coat over, ensuring good surface preparation and compatibility.

Epoxy roof coatings are based on the epoxy resin formula which has an excellent record for protection of steel and other ferrous metals, and contain good anti-corrosive properties.
Epoxy coatings are generally used in industrial enviroments, but can also be used in domestic areas when required. They are hard wearing coatings that give long term protection, but have a tendency to chalk if not overcoated with a suitable top coat.
Normally these types of roof coatings come in two parts that need to be mixed in the correct quantities, for correct application.

They can be semi soft coatings, and compatibility with other roof coatings can be a problem, but they have excellent weathering capabilities.
